After seventeen editions, Pariscience has established itself as a major scientific film festival, in France and internationally. Its mission has remained consistant: to act as a bridge between artistic pursuits and scientific understanding and to facilitate sharing and dialogue, at a time when both are needed more than ever.
Every year, the festival showcases a selection of the very best of international scientific films. Every subject can be of interest and films of every type and duration are welcome (documentaries, TV programs, short films, animated features, fiction, docufiction, webdocs, etc.).
In 2022, Pariscience will take place in late October, at the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, at the Institut de physique du globe in Paris and online. Besides its 7 international competitions and 8 endowed prizes, the festival will offer exclusive Q&As, thought-provoking debates and other surprises.
